Get ready to spread some holiday cheer at our Christmas Caravan on Monday, December 18th, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM! We’ll be dressing up in our best (or worst!) ugly Christmas sweaters and caravanning to three different agents' houses. Each stop will feature a festive treat, and maybe even a fun holiday game for us to play!

Join us for the Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 14th, as we celebrate Gumpy Fest in honor of Gary Boyer’s final year on City Council! We need volunteers to represent Southland Properties, help with setup, and guide Gumby down Glendora Avenue.

The parade starts at 9:00 AM, but we will be meeting at Southland at 8:00 AM to get everything ready. Let’s make this a memorable event for Gary and the whole community!

We’re meeting at Southland Properties at 9pm on Wednesday, 12/11—yes, 9pm! The late start ensures we have the streets to ourselves as we practice walking with a giant Gumby down the parade route.

This is a great opportunity to prepare for the Christmas Parade on Saturday, 12/14 at 9am, so please don’t forget to sign up for the main event. We’ll need plenty of volunteers to help guide Gumby down the Avenue. Your help makes the magic happen—see you there!

We’ll have food, drinks, and plenty of exciting games lined up to make it a night to remember. Get ready to test your luck and enjoy a fantastic evening with friends and colleagues. We are excited to announce that Southland Properties will be participating in the Holiday Stroll on Friday, November 22nd, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and we need your help to make it a success!

We’re looking for volunteers to assist with various tasks throughout the evening:

• Set up and decorate the train

• Manage the train line

• Prepare and serve chili to the public

On November 8th at 1pm, Southland Properties agents will be heading over to Williams Elementary to assist with sorting donations for the Holiday Basket Program. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Southland Properties will be hosting an Ethics Training with Career Compass on November 6, 2024, at 10:00 AM at our office in lieu of Wednesday's meeting that day. Please note that Ethics Training is required for everyone in our office before December 2024. If you cannot attend this meeting, please make sure you complete it on your own before the deadline.

• 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Setup – 3 Volunteers needed for setting up decorations and booths.

• 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Candy Pass-Out – 3 Volunteers needed to distribute candy to participants.

• 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Candy Pass-Out – 3 Volunteers needed for candy distribution.

• 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Candy Pass-Out – 3 Volunteers needed to keep the candy flowing.

• 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Candy Pass-Out – 3 Volunteers needed for the final candy shift.

Join us for a fun evening at Southland Properties! On October 24th, starting at 5pm, we'll be streaming the NFL game Vikings vs. Rams, which kicks off at 5:15pm. Enjoy free beer while cheering on your favorite team!

To get your beer, just bring 3 items from the list below, which will be donated to the Glendora Community Coordinating Council's Holiday Basket Program: Peanut butter & jelly, tuna/chicken, soup (chicken noodle, etc.), cereal (cold and hot), pasta & pasta sauce, rice (bags/boxes), canned vegetables, canned fruit, macaroni & cheese, beans/chili, canned & packaged meals (stew, etc.), crackers (graham, saltine, etc.), fruit juices, instant potatoes/stuffing mix/gravy, cranberry sauce/pumpkin pie mix, muffin & bread mixes, Jell-O & pudding mixes, pancake mix & syrup.

Southland has ordered a variety of raglan T-shirts in different sizes that everyone is welcome to wear. Some people are also purchasing their own costumes, and we’ve found a few options that match the vintage baseball theme: Women's Costume and Men's Costume.

We’d love for you to join us on Friday, October 18th at 3pm for a fun "vintage" photoshoot with everyone in their costumes. These photos will be displayed during the Halloween Walk!
