Gary Boyer began his real estate career in California after moving from Ohio in 1978. Although he initially focused on the restaurant industry, his passion for real estate remained strong, having earned his real estate license in 1977. In 2005, Gary and his son Daniel purchased Southland Properties from Bob and Jackie Doornik, transforming it into a thriving family business.
Under Gary’s leadership, Southland Properties has become one of the most productive real estate offices in the San Gabriel Valley, consistently breaking sales records since 2006 and becoming the top office in units sold for Glendora and Azusa. This year marks Gary's final term on the Glendora City Council, where he has served the community for years, and he plans to step back from politics. In addition, Gary intends to gradually reduce his involvement in real estate, shifting some responsibilities while continuing to support the family business he helped build.
